Dr Nadejda L. Greidina holds a PhD in Linguistics and is the President of the Russian Global Communication Association, a branch of the Global Communication Association. She is a Professor at Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Russia, having previously held the same position at Columbia University, USA, and Macquarie University, Australia, among others. She heads the Department of Rhetoric and the Ethnolinguistics and Communication Studies Research Centre at Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University, Russia. Her areas of research interests include communication, cultural diversity, and media technologies. She is the editor of Global Media Journal: Russia, and she has edited and written many articles and books, including Bases of Communicative Presentation, Communication and Culture, and Nonverbal Communication around the World. Dr Yahya R. Kamalipour is Professor and Chair of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, USA. His areas of interest and research include globalization, media impact, international communication, Middle East media, and new communication technologies. Profiled in the Contemporary Authors and Who's Who in the World, he has published 14 books, including Global Communication and Media, Power, and Politics in the Digital Age. He is the founder and managing editor of Global Media Journal, founder of the Center for Global Studies, USA, and founder and president of the Global Communication Association.
