The Wanners: An Early Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, Mennonite FamilyI.H. Stoltzfus, 1992 - 227 strani Jacob Wanner emigrated from Germany in the early part of the eighteenth century and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. A Mennonite by faith, he settled with others in the county of similar belief. Jacob had a son named Johannes Wanner (d.1795). Johannes married Mary Weber and they were the parents of six children. The Wanners became a prominent farming family in Lancaster County for a number of generations. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Kansas and other parts of the united States and Canada. |
