Roman law is prerequisite to all courses except 10 and 3, and should be taken in the Junior year.

This course is intended to illustrate the agricultural, industrial, and commercial life of the English people in its beginnings and development up to the eve of the Industrial Revolution. subject will be treated topically in a series of lectures. Students will be required to do a reasonable amount of supplementary reading, on which they will be examined from time to time. This course will supplement 52.
