As linens of the same breadth and fineness of thread differ in value according to the closeness of the texture, and the value of the flax from which the Linen is made, a difficulty may arise in ascertaining the proper value thereof for the duty; the officers are in all cases of the entry of foreign Linen at value, to obtain, if practicable, the opinion of some person experienced in the trade, so as to ascertain the current value of the goods, in order that the duty may be properly received
