Stran 3 - Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the LORD'S sake, whether it be to the King as supreme, or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evil-doers, and for the praise of them that do well.
Stran 10 - Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
Stran 13 - Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the Lord, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof; because they came not to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty.
Stran 24 - But ye beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Stran 23 - And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars ; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity : the sea and the waves roaring ; men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things that are coming upon the earth.
Stran 24 - And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
Stran 15 - kindly-affectioned one to another;" to delight in doing good; to " shew all meekness to all men ; to render unto all their dues, tribute to whom tribute is due, custom to whom Custom, fear to whom fear, honour to whom honour;" and to " owe no man any thing, but to love one another.
Stran 16 - Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Stran 22 - everlasting destruction from his presence and from the glory of his power.
