Note. The apparent decrease in the Number and Tonnage of Ships belonging to kis Majesty's Dominions, for the year ended 5th January, 1828, has arisen from the operation ** Registry Acts 4 and 6 Geo. IV. which required all Vessels to be registered de nove, withir i limited period; the consequence has been, that many Vessels which were supposed to be existence, were found to be no longer so.
