Stran 192 - The authority of the legitimate Power having in fact passed into the hands of the occupant, the latter shall take all the measures in his power to restore [45] and ensure, as far as possible, public order and safety, while respecting, unless absolutely prevented, the laws in force in the country.

Stran 195 - Railway material coming from the territory of neutral powers, whether it be the property of the said powers or of companies or private persons, and recognizable as such, shall not be requisitioned or utilized by a belligerent except where and to the extent that it is absolutely necessary. It shall be sent back as soon as possible to the country of origin. A neutral power may likewise, in case of necessity, retain and utilize to an equal extent material coming from the territory of the belligerent...
Stran 188 - Prisoners may be authorized to work for the public service, for private persons, or on their own account. Work done for the State...
Stran 192 - If, in addition to the taxes mentioned in the above Article, the occupant levies other money contributions in the occupied territory, this shall only be for the needs of the army or of the administration of the territory in question.
Stran 191 - An individual can only be considered a spy if, acting clandestinely, or on false pretences, he obtains, or seeks to obtain information in the zone of operations of a belligerent, with the intention of communicating it to the hostile party.
Stran 184 - The emblem of the red cross on a white ground and the words Red Cross or Geneva Cross may only be used, whether in time of peace or war, to protect or designate sanitary formations and establishments, the personnel and materiel protected by the convention.
