Stran 108 - Provided, That the right of suffrage and of holding office shall be exercised only by citizens of the United States...
Stran 626 - ... one for the term of one year, one for the term of two years, and one for the term of three years ; and one member of said board shall be elected annually thereafter, who shall hold his office for three years.

Stran 621 - No Senator or Representative shall, during the time for which he shall have been elected, be appointed to any civil office under this State which shall have been created, or the emoluments of which shall have been increased, during such time.
Stran 628 - No money shall be paid out of the Treasury except in pursuance of an appropriation made by law.
Stran 623 - The election and appointment of all officers and the filling of all vacancies not otherwise provided for by this Constitution, or the Constitution of the United States, shall be made in such manner as may be directed by law; but no appointing power shall be exercised by the General Assembly, except as prescribed in this Constitution, and in the election of United States senators; and in these cases the vote shall be taken "viva voce.
