An Act to amend and consolidate the Laws relating to the
Abolition of the Slave Trade. [24th June, 1824.]

WHEREAS it is expedient that the various Acts and Enactments relating to Slavery and the Slave Trade should be consolidated and amended; be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, That All Acts re- from and after the first day of January, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty-five, all the Acts and Enactments relating to the Slave Trade and the Abolition portation and thereof, and the Exportation and Importation of Slaves, shall be and the same are hereby repealed, save and except in so far as they may have repealed any prior Acts or Enactments, or may have been acted upon, or may be expressly confirmed by this present Act.
