An Act to grant and apply out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund the sum of One million three hundred and sixty-five thousand five hundred and ninety-seven pounds to the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and three.

[Assented to 29th September, 1902.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty the Senate Preamble. and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives as follows::

£1,365,597.

1. There shall and may be issued and applied for or towards Issue and making good the supply hereby granted to His Majesty for the application of service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and three the sum of One million three hundred and sixty-five thousand five hundred and ninety-seven pounds out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the purposes and services expressed in the Schedule to this Act, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to issue and apply the moneys authorized to be issued and applied.

2. The said sum shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor-General in respect of any purposes and for the purposes services set forth in the said Schedule.

3. No moneys shall be expended under the authority of this Act after the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and three.

4. Act number ten of One thousand nine hundred and two is hereby repealed, and any moneys which have been issued applied or expended under the authority of that Act shall be deemed to have been issued applied or expended under the authority of this Act.

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, the Senate, and the House of Representatives of the Commonwealth of Australia, for the purpose of appropriating the grant originated in the House of Representatives as follows:

:

1. There shall and may be issued and applied for or towards making good the supply hereby granted to His Majesty for the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and two the sum of Fifty-two thousand four hundred and ninety-seven pounds out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund.

2. All sums granted by this Act and the other Acts mentioned in the First Schedule to this Act out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund towards making good the supply granted to His Majesty amounting as appears by the said Schedule in the aggregate to the sum of Four million two hundred and eleven thousand three hundred and forty-eight pounds are appropriated and shall be deemed to have been appropriated as from the date of the passing of the Act No. 3 of 1901 for the purposes and services expressed in the Second Schedule hereto.

3. All sums included in Part I. of the Second Schedule hereto shall be available for payment of services rendered during the period ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and one as well as for payment of services rendered during the period ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and
