troops, with their arms and baggage. Demurrage $50 per day. The
United States to pay, as full compensation, the sum of $2,000.
Charter: For charter of the barque J. G. Colley, to transport from
Fort Monroe, Va., to New Orleans, a detachment of United States
troops, with their arms and baggage. Demurrage $75 per day. The
United States to pay, as full compensation, the sum of $2,400.
Charter: For charter of the brig Winthrop, to transport from Fort
Monroe, Va., to Fort Morgan, Mobile Point, Ala, 2 companies of
United States troops, with their arms, baggage, and subsistence
stores. Demurrage $10 per day. The United States to pay, as full

Wood: To deliver whatever wood may be required at Fort Constitu-
tion, for the year commencing the 10th October, 1848. The wood
to be of the best quality, and of hickory or oak. The United States
to pay $7 90 for each cord delivered. Bond $1,000.
