Stran 46 - The Commission may perform any and all acts, make such rules and regulations, and issue such orders, not inconsistent with this Act, as may be necessary in the execution of its functions.
Stran 252 - Where any agency decision rests on official notice of a material fact not appearing in the evidence in the record, any party shall on. timely request be afforded an opportunity to show the contrary.

Stran 163 - In considering applications for licenses, and modifications and renewals thereof, when and in so far as there is demand for the same, the Commission shall make such distribution of licenses, frequencies, hours of operation, and of power among the several States and communities as to provide a fair, efficient and equitable distribution of radio service to each of the same.
Stran 365 - The site selected should meet the following conditions: (1) A minimum field intensity of 25 to 50 mv/m will be obtained over the business or factory areas of the city. (2) A minimum field intensity of 5 to 10 mv/m will be obtained over the most distant residential section. (3) The absorption of the signal is the minimum for any obtainable sites in the area.
Stran 159 - III station would exceed this amount, then an assignment may be made if the proposed station would provide either a standard broadcast nighttime facility to a community not having such a facility or if 25. percent or more of the nighttime primary service area of the proposed station is without primary nighttime service.
Stran 568 - No construction permit or station license, or any rights thereunder, shall be transferred, assigned, or disposed of in any manner, voluntarily or involuntarily, directly or indirectly, or by transfer of control of any corporation holding such permit or license, to any person except upon application to the Commission and upon finding by the Commission that the public interest, convenience and necessity will be served thereby.
Stran 84 - Such party, or any stockholder, officer or director of such party, directly or indirectly owns, operates, controls, or has any interest in, or is an officer or director of any other television broadcast station if the grant of such license would result in a concentration of control of television broadcasting in a manner inconsistent with public interest, convenience, or necessity.
Stran 42 - It is inconceivable that we should allow so great a possibility for service, for news, for entertainment, for education, and for vital commercial purposes to be drowned in advertising chatter.
