PROTOCOLE ENTRE LA FRANCE, LA GRANDE-BRETAGNE ET L'ITALIE, AU SUJET DE LA RÉPARTITION DES SOMMES VERSÉES PAR LA BULGARIE EN REMBOURSEMENT DES FRAIS D'OCCUPATION, SIGNÉ A SOFIA, LE 28 MARS 1924.

Texte officiel français communiqué par le Secrétaire général de la Conférence des Ambassadeurs, agissant pour le compte des Gouvernements de la France, de la Grande-Bretagne et de l'Italie. L'enregistrement de ce protocole a eu lieu le 4 décembre 1924.

En vue de liquider :

1. Les créances avancées par les Gouvernements britannique, français et italien envers le Gouvernement bulgare, pour les frais de l'occupation militaire en Bulgarie aux termes de l'article 133 du Traité de Neuilly-sur-Seine ;

2. Les contre-créances avancées par le Gouvernement bulgare envers chacun des Gouvernements britannique, français et italien pour réquisitions, prestations, frais et débours divers imputés aux troupes d'occupation,

et reconnaissant que, afin de remplir au plus tôt possible le mandat spécial conféré à la Commission interalliée de Bulgarie par décision de la Conférence des Ambassadeurs No 223/V, en date du 27 juillet 1923, il y a un intérêt général à établir dès à présent, d'une manière forfaitaire et par un accord transactionnel, aussi la répartition définitive de toute somme qui sera recouvrée sur la Bulgarie à titre de remboursement des frais d'occupation militaire ;

ont convenu, dûment autorisés par leurs Gouvernements respectifs, que la dite répartition s'effectuera dans les proportions suivantes :

Le présent Protocole a été fait et signé à Sofia, le 28 mars 1924, en trois exemplaires, un pour chacun des trois Gouvernements représentés.

PROTOCOL BETWEEN FRANCE, GREAT BRITAIN AND ITALY CONCERNING THE ALLOCATION OF THE SUMS RECEIVED FROM BULGARIA IN PAYMENT OF THE COST OF OCCUPATION, SIGNED AT SOFIA, MARCH 28, 1924.

French official text communicated by the Secretary-General of the Conference of Ambassadors acting on behalf of the French, British and Italian Governments. The registration of this Protocol took place December 4, 1924.

In order to settle the question of :

(1) The advances made by the British, French and Italian Governments to the Bulgarian Government for the cost of military occupation in Bulgaria under the terms of Article 133 of the Treaty of Neuilly-sur-Seine, and

(2) The counter-claims put forward by the Bulgarian Government against the British, French and Italian Governments severally, on account of requisitions in kind, cash levies and all expenses and outlay attributable to the troops of occupation;

And realising that, in order to carry out as soon as possible the special mandate conferred on the Inter-Allied Commission for Bulgaria by Decision No. 223/V of the Conference of Ambassadors, dated July 27, 1923, it is in the interests of all Parties, by means of a compromise arrangement fixing a definite sum in settlement, to provide for the definite allocation of all sums which may be recovered from Bulgaria under the head of repayment of the cost of the military occupation; The undersigned, being duly authorised by their respective Governments, have agreed that such sums shall be allocated in the following proportions:

The present Protocol has been drawn up and signed at Sofia on March 28, 1924, in three copies, one for each of the three Governments represented.

With reference to your letter dated September 15 last to the Swedish Minister at Vienna, I am instructed to inform you that the Royal Swedish Government, in agreement with the Federal Government of the Republic of Austria, hereby declares that, in commercial relations between Sweden and Austria, the Treaty of Commerce and Navigation concluded between
