AN ACT to amend the Law relating to Bills of Sale, Liens, and Bailments.

[Assented to, 5th December, 1900.]

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. THIS Act may be cited as the Bills of Sale Act Amendment Act, 1900, and shall be incorporated with and form part of the Bills of Sale Act, 1899.

Short title.

Amendment of

2. THE fifty-fourth section of the Bills of Sale Act, 1899, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "piano," the words section 54 of "musical instruments," "bicycle," "cash registers," "billiard principal Act. tables and accessories," "agricultural machinery and implements."

to this Act.

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. SECTION four of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1892, Amendment of 55 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act) is amended by striking Vict., No. 24, s. 4. out the word "twelve," in lines two and eight, and by inserting

the word

thirteen " in lieu thereof.

2. SECTION six of the principal Act is amended by striking out the word "twelve," in line four, and by inserting the word "thirteen" in lieu thereof, and by striking out the word "fourteen," in lines four and five and line twenty, and by inserting the word "sixteen" in lieu thereof.

Criminal Law-Amendment.

3. SECTION eight of the principal Act is amended by striking out the word "twelve." in lines eight and fifteen, and by inserting the word "thirteen" in lieu thereof; and by striking out the word fourteen," in lines sixteen and twenty-five, and by inserting the word "sixteen " in lieu thereof.

4. SECTION thirteen of the principal Act is amended by striking out the word "sixteen" in paragraphs (a) and (b), and by inserting the word "seventeen" in lieu thereof.

5. SECTION fifteen of the principal Act is amended by striking out the word "sixteen," in line three, and by inserting the word "seventeen" in lieu thereof.

E it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. SECTION two of the Lands Resumption Act, 1894, is hereby amended by inserting after the word "wells," in line 15 thereof, the Amendment of 58 words "or for pipe tracks," and by inserting between lines 15 and Viet., No. 33, sec. 2. 16 thereof the following:

"(g'.) For drainage works."

"(g.) For cemeteries."

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent

to this Act.
