Stran 105 - Commission shall also advise generally upon questions of art when required to do so by the President, or by any committee of either House of Congress.
Stran 154 - It shall be the duty of such Commission to advise upon the location of statues, fountains, and monuments in the public squares, streets, and parks in the District of Columbia, and upon the selection of models for statues, fountains, and monuments, erected under the authority of the United States and upon the selection of artists for the execution of the same.
Stran 53 - ... imprisonment, and for each subsequent offense by a fine not exceeding fifty dollars, or 'by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Stran 82 - Act, and, except in the case of a lease, no payment shall be made by the United States for any such area until title thereto is satisfactory to the Attorney General and is vested in the United States.
Stran 108 - Commission shall have a secretary and such other assistance as the Commission may authorize, and the members of the Commission shall each be paid actual expenses in going to and returning from Washington to attend the meetings of said Commission and while attending the same.
Stran 105 - It is hereby ordered that whenever new structures are to be erected in the District of Columbia under the direction of the Federal Government which affect in any important way the appearance of the city, or whenever questions involving matters of art and with which the Federal Government is concerned are to be determinedj final action shall not be taken until such plans and questions have been submitted to the Commission of Fine Arts designated under the act of Congress of May 17, 1910, for comment...
