Applications should, if possible, be filed with the Recorder of the Faculties, Berkeley, California, on or before June 10th. They may be sent by mail. In case of adverse action by the Faculty upon an application for admission to the Summer Session, the applicant is notified immediately, by mail: in other cases no acknowledgment or other notice is sent. Additional applica tion forms may be obtained by addressing the Recorder of the Faculties.

A circular containing detailed information concerning the scientific publications of the University, with prices, will be sent on application to the Manager of the University Press. The separate numbers of the several series appear at irregular intervals, making, however, uniform volumes.

The UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA CHRONICLE. A quarterly publication intended to serve as an official record of University life. It contains articles and addresses by members of the Faculty and by others on topics of interest to the University public, as well as a summary of current University happenings. Price, $1 a year.

The UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA CALENDAR. A weekly bulletin of official University announcements, containing also notices of meetings, lectures, concerts, and other University activities. Price, 25 cents a half-year, postpaid.
