The University comprehends the following departments : HARVARD COLLEGE, AND ETHNOLOGY, F Students in regular standing in any one department of the University are admitted free to the instruction and the examinations given in any other department, with the exception of exercises carried on in the special laboratories. But no student whose tuition fee for the year amounts to less than $150 is admitted to exercises given in any department other than that in which he is enrolled, except by special permission of the Dean of the department in which the instruction is given, after being duly accredited thereto by the Dean of the department of which the student is a member.
