* Of the surveys in Kansas 4,792,790 acres are Osage diminished reservation lands, authorized to be surveyed under the provision of section twelve, act of Congress approved July 15, 1870, (United States Statutes, vol. 16, p. 362.)

Of the surveys in Idaho Territory 130,129 acres are Nez Percé Indian lands, authorized to be surveyed into twenty-acre tracts, per article three treaty of June 9, 1863, (United States Statutes, vol. 14, p. 648.) All of these lands, to wit, 1,350,106.88, are Chickasaw lands, surveyed into one hundred and sixty acre tracts, under the provision of the eleventh article of the treaty of April 28, 1866, (United States Statutes, vol. 14, p. 774.)
