Applicants will be required to obtain permits to enter the examination room. Examination permits will be issued by the Recorder of the Faculties on or before August 6 (Wednesday). But applications for permits to be sent by mail should be made as far in advance of August 6 (Wednesday) as will enable applicants to receive their permits by that date. The office of the Recorder of the Faculties is in California Hall, Berkeley. August 11 (Monday)—Examinations begin for applicants for advanced standing and for students previously conditioned. August 15 (Friday)-August 16 (Saturday)-Registration of students of the Third- and Fourth-year classes at the Student's Registration Office, University Hospital, San Francisco. Payment of the first installment of the tuition fee is required on or before this date.
