Stran 2040 - What is prudence in the conduct of every private family, can scarce be folly in that of a great kingdom. If a foreign country can supply us with a commodity cheaper than we ourselves can make it, better buy it of them with some part of the produce of our oWn industry, employed in a way in which we have some advantage.
Stran 1952 - ... that he is not a member of the Communist Party or affiliated with such party, and that he does not believe in, and is not a member of or supports any organization that believes in or teaches, the overthrow of the United States Government by force or by any illegal or unconstitutional methods.
Stran 1886 - State agency will make such reports, in such form and containing such information as the Secretary may from time to time reasonably require, and will keep such records and afford such access thereto as the Secretary may find necessary to assure the correctness and verification of such reports...
Stran 1802 - I shall ask the Congress for the one remaining instrument to meet the crisis - broad executive power to wage a war against the emergency as great as the power that would be given to me if we were in fact invaded by a foreign foe.

They have made me the present instrument of their wishes. In the spirit of the gift I take it.
Stran 1929 - State needs and will be able to use for such year ; and the total of such reductions shall be similarly reallotted among the States whose proportionate amounts were not so reduced. Any...
Stran 1596 - ... and to make such expenditures, as it deems advisable. The cost of stenographic services to report such hearings shall not be in excess of 25 cents per hundred words. The expenses of the committee, which shall not exceed $5,000, shall be paid from the contingent fund of the Senate upon vouchers approved by the chairman.
Stran 1802 - Congress to remove obstructions to the free flow of interstate and foreign commerce which tend to diminish the amount thereof; and to provide for the general welfare by promoting the organization of industry for the purpose of cooperative action among trade groups...
Stran 1802 - But apart from this contemporary mood, the ideas of economists and political philosophers, both when they are right and when they are wrong, are more powerful than is commonly understood.
