Stran 86 - ALMIGHTY God, the fountain of all wisdom, who knowest our necessities before we ask, and our ignorance in asking ; We beseech thee to have compassion upon our infirmities ; and those things, which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask, vouchsafe to give us, for the worthiness of thy Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
Stran 91 - O God, the protector of all that trust in thee, without whom nothing is strong, nothing is holy ; Increase and multiply upon us thy mercy ; that, thou being our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal, that we finally lose not the things eternal.
Stran 23 - OGOD, from whom all holy desires, all good counsels, and all just works do proceed ; Give unto thy servants that peace, which the world cannot give ; that our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments...
Stran 23 - O ALMIGHTY Lord, and everlasting God, vouchsafe, we beseech thee, to direct, sanctify, and govern both our hearts and bodies, in the ways of thy laws, and in the works of thy commandments...
Stran 22 - ALMIGHTY God, who hast given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications unto thee; and dost promise that when two or three are gathered together in thy Name thou wilt grant their requests; Fulfil now, O Lord, the desires and petitions of thy servants, as may be most expedient for them; granting us in this world knowledge of thy truth, and in the world to come life everlasting.
Stran 23 - LIGHTEN our darkness, we beseech thee, O Lord ; and by thy great mercy defend us from* all perils and dangers of this night ; for the love of thy only Son, our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Stran 109 - LORD, look down from heaven, behold, visit and relieve this thy servant. Look upon him with the eyes of thy mercy, give him comfort and sure confidence in thee, defend him from the danger of the enemy, and keep him in perpetual peace and safety, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Stran 103 - Always bearing about in the body, the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
Stran 103 - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, 0 God, Thou wilt not despise.
Stran 100 - Save and deliver us, we humbly beseech thee, from the hands of our enemies, abate their pride, assuage their malice, and confound their devices ; that we, being armed with thy defence, may be preserved evermore from all perils, to glorify thee, who art the only giver of all victory ; through the merits of thy only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
