In politics, he is a Republican. His residence is on Sec. 5, P. O. Toddville; he is proprietor of the Otter Creek swine farm, breeder of and dealer in choice thoroughbred Poland-China pigs; his piggery is a well constructed building 30 by 126 feet fully inclosed, and thus kept perfectly dry, lighted by glass windows, all in the right place, well ventilated, and all its apartments apparently the best possible; he has a farm of 230 acres, valued at $35 per acre; it is
