Cases on the American Law of Mining

Sprednja platnica

"Because the first edition of this casebook on Mining Law was out of print, it became necessary either to get out a revised edition of the book or to abandon it. The diminishing importance of American Mining Law made it financially inadvisable to attempt a complete new edition of the casebook, but it seemed desirable to bring the book down to date by supplement and yet to reduce the size of the book somewhat by cutting out the major part of the original chapter on mining locations as related to other rights in public lands, and all of the chapters on oil, gas, and other mining leases, and on rights of access on severance of surface from minerals and rights of subjacent and of lateral support. That procedure was accordingly adopted. The index to the casebook has been revised to conform to the addition and other changes." -- Preface to revised edition.
