A text on creativity and the creative process, as told through the enduring words of artists. Taking the reader on a journey through the wit and wisdom of generations of visual artists, photographers and architects, the volume explores what makes creative people extraordinary. It presents a compilation of more than 1000 quotations from the famous to the obscure, celebrating what artists through time have said on a number of provocative subjects: colour, fame, finding inspiration, money woes, beauty, critics, other artists, and more.
