Claudia Isler is a freelance editor and writer who has edited material ranging in subject matter from robotic engineering to soap operas. She has written other Rosen books for young people, including Caught in the Middle: A Teen Guide to Custody, and two books about service-learning. She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and their cat, Phoebe.
