Lord Camelford, fince his return home, has challenged Capt. Vancouver, late of the Discovery, for alledged il treatment in the South Seas. The Cap tain afferts that his Lordship brought the difagreeable circumstances he com plains of on himself, by his own ill-behaviour, and that what he did was ne ceffary for the prefervation of difci pline; under this conviction, he offered to fubmit the matter to any one Flag Officer, and if he was of opinion the Captain was liable, by the laws of ho nour, to be called on, he would chearfully give his Lordship fatisfaction. Lord C. declined fubmitting to this ap peal, and threatened perfonally to infult Captain Vancouver, which he attempted to execute laft Wednesday, when Captain Vancouver was walking in Bondftreet, but was prevented by the Captain's brother warding off the blows.
