In spite of the statement on the title-page, this volume contains none (the Petition to the King excepted) of the papers there mentioned. "The late pamphlet, entitled 'Extracts from the Votes and Proceedings of the American Continental Congress,' contained only a Part of the Journal of that Congress. The whole Journal has since been published in America; but it was thought proper to reprint only such parts in this Pamphlet, as were omitted in the former, in order that those Gentlemen who have purchased the 'Extracts' may make their copies complete, if they chuse it. The two pamphlets contain the entire Journal of the Proceedings of the Congress." |
