I listened to the book on Audible - read by the author. I found it to be a treasure, like being invited over for coffee and just listening to him talk about all the things he knows and the research he's done. I was ignorant to the fact that the book is only about the very early part of the revolutionary war, but very much enjoyed the stories and the intimate portrait of Washington and other figures on both sides of the conflict.
