I love to read history and 1776 filled in a lot of information slowly disappearing from the American scene. I like the way the author uses personal letters, newspaper articles of the period, and other documented bits to give me an insight into the motives and decisions made by the great men involved in this important year for our forefathers and Great Britain.
I cannot wait to read "John Adams."
