it was amazing

Brilliantly written and a remarkable account of 1776. You 'learn' about the American Revolution as a child, but it's simple memorization of dates and battles. Investing the time, as an adult, to truly understand that first year of the war for independence was eye opening. That a ragtag band of, roughly 8000 men, could pave the way to freedom is testament to the will of the individual.

Thank you George Washington. For without you, our country would not be what it is. God bless.
