Once again I am propelled into history through the words of David McCullough. It is as if I am marching with General Washington, not merely reading about his feats. The numerous quotes from Washington's letters, as well as numerous other leaders at this time of founding our country, leave no doubt that America was created by men who believed God would provide our victory. And, like Joshua in the Old Testament, it is obvious that our victories were only possible because God was fighting the battle for us. Our country needs to turn and look to God to heal our land.
