Fabulous book! GW was an amazing leader and person taking on a huge challenge in his task. His attitude and belief in himself and "the cause" only got stronger as the incredible adversities piled on. I'm ready for 1777!! Growing up in NJ and the northeast made it all the more interesting having driven and spent time in these now famous and almost seemingly forgotten historical locations. What the patriots endured against forces more experienced and better equipped against the powerhouse of the world is immense. It's stuff that movies should be made of! Inspiring, prideful and sad at the same time. A must read for anyone interested in our history.
