This book was a fascinating look at the overwhelming odds the Americans faced in fighting Great Britain. It gives insight into the blunders and courage of George Washington, the way the British underestimated the Continental Army, and how sheer dumb luck was on the American's side. After reading it, I couldn't help but be proud to be a descendant of these stalwart American men.
