really liked it

The book was an interesting read because instead of solely focusing on the war, the book focuses more on the political side. It describes the agony for the Continental Army in 1776 being plagued with devastating defeats, low enlistments, desertions, defections, and many other setbacks. The book also describes how some members of Parliament understood why America was rebelling against the British. Which shows that not every member of Parliament was a supporter of the war.
