it was amazing

I agree with most of the reviews I have read of this book. It is a bit of a cliffhanger at the end because David McCullough only goes through the year 1776. I easily could have read more. By the end, I felt a greater appreciation for just how remarkable the Revolution actually was, and how much the odds were really stacked against the colonists.

Joseph Naylor I felt the exact same way. I was a bit naive when I started this book that I thought that, "Certainly he wouldn't just stop on December 31st," but that's exactly what happened.
