I barely made it through this book. I'm beginning to discover many great books on the American Revolution, but this isn't one of them. I understand that McCullough's other books have been pretty good, but he dropped the ball on this. It's not worth all the hype and even if you are genuinely into this period of American history it's difficult to get through.
