it was amazing

McCullough has the uncanny ability of writing nonfiction that's as fantastic and gripping as fiction. Despite a clumsy first act, "1776" is an extraordinary look inside the first chapter of the American Revolution -- and the American errors that are swept under the rug in U.S. history books.
