This book was so hard for me to read--so many names, and my unfamiliarity with the locations discussed--Boston, New York, & New Jersey, made it more difficult for me to make sense of the movements of the armies.
It was, however, interesting to read about how George Washington became gained experience & confidence, becoming them great leader we are familiar with. The Congress seemed to have complete faith in him--probably because of his great sense of duty & honor, because he had little experience in combat.
Also, I think I need to learn more about Nathaneal Greene & (James?) Knox, who became Washington's most reliable generals.
