Detailed, very detailed and reads like I was really there. It was not as one sided as I expected and covered both English and American side, attituded, living conditions. Historically speaking it ran from 1775 to the end of 1776 and was not a total history of the American Revolutionary War, but told why the war was not lost to the English. George Washington was presented as a real person with flaws and mistakes, but how much the American soldiers loved and respected him A good read for those who only know what they learned in school.
