Great writing about how both sides experienced 1776, from the soldiers and generals on the battlefield to Congress and Parliament. While I know the book focused on the single year, I would have liked a bit more background on Bunker Hill and the French Indian War - the events that set 1776 in motion. High school history class was a long time ago.
