I thought this was a really good book. Not being a big history buff, this was very informative for me. Reading about the struggles of 1776 it really is quite miraculous that America was successful in the war for independence. The book itself was really dense and I found myself unable to read too much at once. The book is good enough to warrant reading something else by the author, but not something I would offer as a blanket recommendation to everyone.
