I found this book utterly fascinating. So much so that I will be shopping for a physical copy of the book since I was given an electronic version to review. This is one I will be referring back to again and again. The look at quantum theory, modern neuroscience and how we can truly change our own minds was riveting. While that might sound like a tough read the author did an excellent job of keeping the topics accessible and easy to understand, readers should not be intimidated. Grab a copy and take a journey though your own brain and see what happens. ( )

The book is about using Meditation and Visualization to reprogram your mind and body, but it throws in a lot of scientific references like Quantum Physics, Neuroplasticity etc. You'll learn.
• Key concepts and ideas from Quantum Physics, including how (i) everything in our material world consists mainly of energy, and (ii) where we direct our attention, we direct our energy.
• How your mind and body work in a thinking-feeling loop, to affect your internal biochemical state, and even your gene expression. Realize how you're unknowingly trapped in the past due to your focus on the body, environment, and time.
• How to create a new reality by injecting new thoughts/feelings to change your internal state. Discover Dispenza's meditative process--which involves 7 steps over 4 weeks--to start changing your mind, body, and external outcomes.

I didn't read very much of this book because I bought at how he claimed in the beginning that he had a brain scan 20 years after his first brain scan and he had deAged his brain and it become younger. With no proof of this given I just don't take his word for it I'd have to see pictures diagrams and a full scientific study of believable information but at this point I think this guy's just a liar so nothing he could do could convince me that he hadn't faked the results. I read this book in 2014 and am re-reading it in 2018. The first time I read it I was hungry for the knowledge shared by Dr. Joe, more like a buffet. This time I am reading it as an incredible meal, not one item on the 'menu' is overdone, every bite supports the next bite and I am savoring the renewed wisdom and the experience of new neurons exploding in my head. Interesting theory. I will comment later after I have practiced the meditations. I have also started reading his earlier book Evolve your Brain. ( )
