This was an interesting, but not necessarily engaging, read. Lots of names, dates, battles, but not enough human interest for me. I did really enjoy learning about Washington's trials and tribulations during the year, along with the more famous of the historical battles (the crossing of the Delaware, for example), and how 1776 was the beginning, and ultimately the real turning point, of the American Revolution.

Still, a bit on the dry side. Glad I stuck it out, though - I did learn alot.
