I hate to give such a wonderful book only three stars but I had to be honest. I was a bit bored with it. However, I believe that my disinterest might have something to do with just finishing "Written in my own Hearts Blood" which is somewhat similar in historical content. I would highly recommend this book although it would not appear so from my lower rating.
