I read this, enjoyed learning the history of the building of America at that time, found the writers story interesting::: but thinking about this book today, I'm at a loss. The book has not been memorable in any way. I've read a lot of historical books and always retained something. Guess I'll try it again to see I will put it down again unremembered!'
